Scania PL truck The P range is a range of trucks produced by the Swedish manufacturer Scania since 2004, with the R and G ranges, replacing the 4 series.
Compared to R and G series trucks, Scania P trucks are smaller, lighter and less powerful. Handy and fuel efficient, they are ideal for construction sites, but also for distribution and transport over short distances.
The Scania P is available with 5 cab sizes: 3 cab versions with sleeper, 1 single cab version and 1 short cab version. Its power can go up to 440 horsepower, and its engine torque up to 2300 Nm.
From 2011, Scania P trucks were equipped with a cooling capacity in accordance with Euro 6 standard. Current models benefit from the Opticruise system, which optimizes gear change, as well as EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and SCR ( Selective Catalytic Reduction) which reduce emissions of polluting particles.
In 2013, Scania presented the first Euro 6 truck equipped with a gas engine (quieter and less polluting than a diesel engine): the P 340.
