Renault - Renault Truck The Renault Trucks group is the result of the collaboration at the beginning of the 20th century between Marius Berliet and Louis Renault. The latter created the brand's first truck in 1906: a 1-ton GVW carrier equipped with a 1.9L twin-cylinder engine developing 10 horsepower. In 1978, all the manufacturers of heavy goods vehicles present on the French market merged to create Renault Vehicles Industriels (RVI). Renault's truck department takes the name Renault Trucks. Today, Renault Trucks is the leader among heavy truck manufacturers in France. The range of trucks developed by the diamond brand includes models developed for distribution (Midlum, Premium Distribution), carriers intended for long-distance transport (Premium Route, Magnum) and models intended for construction and construction (Premium Lander, Kerax)
