Mercedes Benz - Mercedes Truck
Mercedes Benz is a German brand of trucks created in 1926, it belongs to the Daimler group. In 1902, the main Daimler dealer registered the name “Mercedes” and ordered the first Mercedes vehicles.
The famous three-pointed star that has represented the brand since 1909 symbolizes the three elements on which vehicles equipped with Daimler engines circulate: water, air and sea.
The first range of Mercedes trucks had the prefix "L" to indicate that they were "lastwagen" (trucks in German).
The most famous Mercedes-Benz carrier is certainly the Actros, whose three successive generations have received the Truck of the Year award (1998 for the first Mercedes Actros, 2005 for the Actros II and 2009 for the Actros III). The various Actros trucks have been designed specifically for long distance transport. The Mercedes Axor is also available as a long distance forwarder.
Mercedes offers a range of trucks with a lower GVW for distribution. These include the Axor, Antos, Atego and Economic models.
