Iveco Eurocargo
Truck Iveco EurocargoEurocargo is a range of medium tonnage carriers and tractors produced by Iveco since 1991. It replaces the Z (Zeta) series marketed by Fiat-OM (former subsidiary of the Fiat group) from 1977 to 1990 and is very successful fast: the truck was voted “Truck of the Year” in 1992. A versatile distribution truck, the Eurocargo is easy to drive thanks to its compact cabin, 52 ° steering angle and clearance in tight bends. It is equipped with a 4- or 6-cylinder diesel engine ranging in power from 130 to 280 horsepower, and its GVWR can range from 6.5 to 19 tonnes depending on the model. In 2000, the Eurocargo cabin was redesigned, and the truck was fitted with an Iveco Tector engine.
From 2006, when the Euro 4 standard came into force, it benefits from the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system with Adblue injection, which leads to a reduction in emissions of polluting particles. In 2013 Iveco presented the Eurocargo Euro 6 trucks. These vehicles benefit from "common rail" injection (common rail direct injection), a high-pressure electronic system which notably saves fuel.
