The jury of Italian journalists has just awarded the prestigious "Sustainable Truck of the Year 2024" prize to the MAN TGX 18.520, equipped with the D26 engine compliant with Euro 6e standards.

The "Sustainable Truck of the Year" honors the most innovative and environmentally friendly transportation solutions each year in various categories. To select future winners, the jury also considers concepts such as sustainability in production, limiting pollutant emissions, improved safety, and greater driving comfort.
MAN has been recognized several times by the jury members. The manufacturer was notably highlighted two years ago after success in the tractor category.
Choice of the MAN TGX 18.520
The MAN TGX 18.520 is the latest evolution of a generation of vehicles seeking maximum efficiency. In this regard, it benefits from improvements aimed at making it more aerodynamic. It also incorporates the latest innovations in key components (wheels, cabin, engine, gearbox, automatic assistance devices, etc.). Such a configuration allows this vehicle to be the least fuel-consuming in its category.
This version is equipped with the D2676 engine. This 12.4-liter six-cylinder has demonstrated its qualities, starting with its fuel efficiency, during a test conducted on an open road (Supertest Vado e Torno 500 km). The tested tractor had then, for the first time, crossed the symbolic threshold of four kilometers covered with just one liter (precisely 4.18 km/l).
