Simon Loos expands one of Europe’s largest electric fleets
Specializing in logistics services, the Dutch company Simon Loos is continuing its efforts to make its vehicle fleet greener. It has just acquired 75 Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 trucks, bringing the total number of electric trucks to 210.

With around sixty sites in the Netherlands, Simon Loos employs more than 3,000 people and operates approximately 1,200 vehicles. Thanks to this new purchase, it now owns one of the largest electric truck fleets in Europe. At the national level, it is ahead of all its direct competitors.
As early as 2021, Simon Loos took the step toward clean vehicles with the introduction of an eActros 300, a first on the continent. In 2024, on the advice of its trusted partner GomesTrucks and Daimler Truck, the service provider chose the eActros 600 for its performance and reliability. In the autumn of that same year, it placed an initial order for 75 trucks, which has recently been renewed.
Delivery of the new eActros 600 underway
So far, around fifty of the first eActros 600 trucks purchased have been delivered. Most are assigned to food distribution operations. Three-axle models are used for beverage logistics or network transport operations.
The coming weeks will be devoted to receiving and commissioning the remaining twenty vehicles. As предусмотрено in agreements between the partners, once this stage is completed, delivery of the 75 trucks from the second order can begin.
