The Man Lion’s City wins the « Bus of the year 2015 » !
Ecological, powerful and economical : the advantages of the Man Lion’s City GL GNV got it the « Bus of the Year 2015 ». This price was awarded by a jury of specialized European journalists during the Bus Euro Test in June in Lucerne, Switzerland. The German manufacturer's bus had already gotten this title in 2005.

Main characteristics of the Man Lion’s City GL GNV
The Man Lion’s City is an articulated city bus of 18,75 metres, fuelled with e-gas. Its transportation capacity is up to 142 people. Equipped with a GNV Euro 6 engine of 310hp and an automated gearbox, this urban coach is an ecological transport solution, with very low pollution levels.
A modern and comfortable bus
The MAN bus has lots of innovations. Its five double-width doors, the only ones on the market, increase the passenger flow and avoid waiting at the stops. The ticket validation stand scans electronic tickets bought with your smartphone. The bus also offers free Wi-Fi access.
During the 4 try-out days of the Bus Euro Test, the Man Lion’s City stood out among the other buses :
- Urbanway 18 m Full Hybrid from Iveco Bus,
- Citaro G Euro VI from Mercedes-Benz,
- Citywide GNV 12m from Scania,
- Citea SLFA 18m Euro VI from VDL.
The Bus of the Year 2015 trophy will officially be given at the 2014 Hannover IAA (from 25 september to 2 october 2014).
