Tractor MAN TGA

TGA (for Trucknology Generation A) is a heavy range of carriers and tractors produced by the German manufacturer MAN since 2000. It replaces the range F2000 launched in 1994. The MAN TGA was named “Truck of the Year” in 2001.
Launched with a D28 engine (6-cylinder diesel engine 12.816 liters and 460 horsepower), the MAN TGA was later equipped with D20 and D26 engines. It benefited from common rail injection starting in 2004, as well as the MAN BrakeMatic system (EBS, ABS, PriTarder retarder), the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) and the MAN PM-KAT particulate filter.
Available with different axle configurations, from 4X2 to 8X8, the TGA supports a PTAC of 19 tons and a PTRA of 40 tons. It can be equipped with a wide variety of bodies: dump truck, concrete mixer, flatbed, drill… There are 6 cab versions for the MAN TGA: M (short cab), L (extended cab), LX (improved cab), then XL, XLX and XXL for the most spacious cabs.
In 2006, the TGA range was replaced by the TGS (heavy transport for BTP and distribution) and TGX (long haul) ranges.
