Iveco Stralis - Tractor Iveco StralisStralis is a heavy range of carriers and tractors produced by the Italian manufacturer Iveco since 2002, replacing the Eurostar and Eurotech ranges. In 2003, the Stralis was voted "Truck of the Year".
The Iveco Stralis are fitted with Iveco Cursor 8, 10 or 13 liter engines. There are 8 diesel versions (from 310 to 560 horsepower) and 3 CNG versions (from 270 to 330 horsepower). Equipped with a manual, robotic (Eurotronic ZF) or automatic (Allison) transmission, the Stralis also benefit from the Iveco Turbo Brake decompression engine brake. Available with different axle formulas (4X2, 6X2 or 6X4), the Stralis support a GVW of 18 to 72 tonnes. There are 3 cabin versions for the Stralis: AS (Active Space), AT (Active Time) and AD (Active Day).
In 2007, Iveco launched the second generation of Stralis, then in 2012 the third, called “Stralis Hi-Way”. The Iveco Stralis Hi-Way, in compliance with the Euro 6 standard, sees its fuel consumption reduced thanks to the Ecoswitch and Ecofleet devices. Hi-eSCR (High Efficiency SCR) enables it to reduce its pollutant emissions. Equipped with the Iveconnect system, the Stralis offers its driver driving assistance (Iveconnect Drive) and fleet management assistance (Iveconnect Fleet).
Thanks to these technological advances, as well as its new, more ergonomic and aerodynamic cabin, the Stralis Hi-Way was voted "Truck of the Year" in 2013.
