The Renault Trucks T High Edition receives a German Design Award
Spotted for its aesthetics, the T High Edition has persuaded the jury of one of the notorious design contest in the world. The German design council awarded Renault Trucks a German Design Award in the Transport category for its special T High Edition series on February 9th 2018. The event, that took place during the Ambiente international trade fair in Frankfurt, has showcased the originality of an appreciated model.
Renault Trucks T High Edition, an atypical series
With aluminium rims and black cab, the Renault Trucks T High Edition could only attract attention. Visually daring, it stands out with its trapezoidal cabin, a windscreen tilted by 12 degrees and a pi-shaped front. Inside, the T High Edition benefit from all the driving comfort there is. Finally, it is equipped with aerodynamic equipments and offers perfomances improves by a Fuel Eco+ Pack using even less fuel.
The German Design Award, a renowned award
The Renault Trucks T High Edition was awarded a renowned price throughout the world. The German Design Award is handed out by the foundation created in 1953 : the German design council, and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. To be selected, the T High Edition had to persuade a jury of 43 international experts and competed against 5 000 projects.
It is not the first time the T High Edition got a price. In 2016, it already got the second place of the Young Professionals Truck Award 2017, a price awarded to young drivers.
