Solutrans innovation awards : the 2017 winners

    The 2017 Solutrans show, international show for road &urban transport solutions, ended on November 25th. During the closing cerenomy were handed out the innovation awards to the winners.

    Innovation highlighted

    These awards, put together by CCI Lyon Métropole, are an important part of Solutrans since 2001. They are used to showcase the most creative and innovative exhibitors in terms of technic, economy, environment and performance. After visiting all the booths, the jury (made of technic and product directors from important manufacturers as well as members of other agencies) deliberates then awards 10 prizes.

    There are two categories : « Bodywork manufacturers » and « Equipment manufacturers ». For each category, there are 4 awards (gold, silver, bronze and sustainable development). To these 8 awards, two other have been added : Innovative SMEs and the low emission kinetic chain.

    The 2017 winners

    Body manufacturer Category

    The winner of this category is LAMBERET with the development of the first hybrid refrigerated commercial van in the world. They were step ahead of CHEREAU, LECAPITAINE. GAUSSIN MANUGISTIQUE won the Sustainable development award for this category.

    Equipment manufacturer Category

    The company SAF-HOLLAND was awarded the first prize for their shock absorption system for trailers and semi-trailers. The silver and bronze trophies were awarded to ROBERT LYE and CARRIER TRANSICOLD. TELMA is the winner of the sustainable development award.

    Innovative SMEs

    It was awarded to the company INNOV+ for all their web services for data geo-tracking called « Toucango solution».

    The low-emission kinetic chain award

    The jury has highlither Renault Trucks for the Urban Lab 2.
