Scania King of the Road limited edition, new generation

Faithful to the values that made them a success for the last several decades, Scania just launched the new version of the limited edition of the King of the Road. Available as a tractor unit or rigid, this limited edition stands out by its design and performances.

    A powerful V8 engine

All the models from this limited editions will be equipped with a V8 engine with output ranging from 520 hp to 730. The V8 engine has been redesigned in comparison to the previous generation. The Scania engineers' efforts helped reduce the fuel consumption by 7 to 10% thanks to the new platform added in June 2017. Improvements have been made on the engine's weight and their reliability. All these innovations will reduce the maintenance costs of the vehicles and improve the productivity of all drivers.

    High level equipments

For this new generation, not only has the engine evolved but also the equipments. Thus, inside, there is a dashboard + ICL 7”, AC, heating with automatic command, cartography and navigation equipments, and a top storage with great volume. The omnipresence of black leather gives it a luxurious vibe.

The outside design of this new range has been improved. Indeed, in addition to the outside pratical elements and the double fuel tanks (of 540 and 620 liters), Scania has included aluminium Durabright rims and other equipments that give these models a unique look. You can admire the griffin symbol that enhances the truck.
