Renault Trucks launches the D Wide CNG Euro 6
For more than 10 years, Renault Trucks sells trucks using CNG or Compressed Natural Gas. In order to complete its distribution range, the manufacturer just announced the new Renault Trucks D Wide CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) in Euro 6.
The Renault Trucks D Wide CNG is equipped with a Euro 6 NGT9 6-cylindre gas engine, with power output of 320hp. The D Wide CNG is available as a 4x2 of 19 tonnes or a 6x2 of 26 tonnes. Using natural gas or biogas, it is ideal for deliveries, distribution, or waste collection in cities. Indeed, the CNG doesn't pollute much and has lots of advantages : the engines emits few particles, and don't produce any smoke or odor.
The operator can appreciate the driving comfort of the new Renault Trucks distribution truck, thanks to its engine torque of 1 356 Nm and low sound level. Its autonomy of 400 km in urban use is comparable to the use of a diesel engine.
