New Volvo Trucks France competition : a guitar to win!
For their new prize competition, the Swedish manufacturer specially designed a guitar at the effigy of the make.
Since July 3rd and until September 25th, Volvo Trucks fans can win 50 packs for the 24H of Le Mans trucks, which takes place on October 10th and 11th, 2015. The winner will get a guitar, specially designed for the event. The unique object was made by Philippe Dubreuille, a stringed instrument maker. It is made out of hand-painted alder, with a maple handle and two TV Jones mics : a powertron and a powertron plus. This guitar is the same as the one Billy Gibbond, ZZ Top's guitarist had.
A quizz as an interactive video
In this video, we see Judge Fredd, guitarist for the rock band « Cour Suprême ». He played with his band at the Volvo Trucks France booth during the 24 Hours of Le Mans trucks in 2014 for a few privileged fans. As a music quizz, Judge Fredd plays rock'n'roll songs on the Volvo guitar. With each song comes a date. By clicking on the date, Volvo gives a story about the make. For instance, the make tells us that the FH trucks came out in 1993.
The results are available in September, and a winner will get the Volvo Trucks guitar from Judge Fredd on the Volvo Trucks France booth at the 24 hours of Le Mans trucks.
