The 2014 Optifuel Challenge pre-selections will start in March. The 2nd edition of the European economic driving competition will have the drivers competing in the new Renault Trucks T. The best European drivers come from 19 countries and will go forward to the finals in November.

Optifuel Challenge 2014 : start of the best drivers selections
Organized bu Renault Trucks, the Optifuel Challenge goal is to help drivers be more attentive to their fuel consumption.
During the national selections, haulage companies choose the drivers that will participate in the competition. The candidates will be judged on their fuel consumption, their driving skills, their speed and road safety management. Then, the top 34 will go to the European finals in November 2014.
