DAF Vlaanderen, an ultramodern factory
In 85 years, between the development of the old Euro 6 trucks and the purchase of new production equipments, this project is a record investment for DAF. In total, nearly a billion euro was invested for the production of this new generation of trucks and the factory’s adjustments. Moreover, the workstations and the production processes were reorganized. The Belgian Prime minister, Elio Ri Rupo, went to the factory to look at the innovations conducted by DAF Trucks.
The new Euro 6 DAF trucks
The new Euro 6 DAF truck range is made of 3 models. The DAF XF trucks are made for long distance haulage. The DAF CF trucks can be used for different purposes whatever the distance or road conditions. Finally, the DAF LF trucks are specialized for urban or regional applications.
