2012 Pollutec Exhibition : the truck manufacturers’ sustainable solutions
The 2012 Pollutec exhibition will take place in Lyon, France from November 27th to 30th. Pollutec is the international exhibition of environmental equipments, technologies and services for the treatment of pollution of all kinds. It is divided into several sectors all with the same purpose : find the best anti-pollution solutions. For this 25th edition, Pollutec will welcome 2.400 exhibitors (30% of them being foreigners) and 75.000 visitors. On this occasion, truck manufacturers will be there to present their anti-pollution solutions and their waste collection vehicles.

Waste collection vehicles on display
The Pollutec exhibition is the perfect occasion for truck manufacturers to introduce their chassis designed for waste collection vehicles. Among the exhibitors attending the Pollutec exhibition you will find Scania France, DAF, Man Trucks & Bus and Renault Trucks France. Recycling and waste collection vehicles are essential for a sustainable city, main theme of the 2012 Pollutec exhibition. Thus, professionals will be able to see for the first time the new waste tipper by DAF Trucks designed for their Clean Force program.
Transportation vehicles more environment friendly
The 2012 Pollutec visitors will also be introduced to the truck manufacturers advanced technologies for environment friendly vehicles. Thus, the Renault Trucks equipped with alternative energies will be shown on an interactive terminal: the Maxity Electric, the Premium Distribution Hybrys Tech and the Premium Distribution GNV. Renault Trucks will also display the advanced technologies they chose to adapt their engines to the Euro 6 anti-pollution norm.
