The braking system (air brakes and ABS), the air suspensions and the manual gearbox (9 or 18 gears) are all standard equipment that made the success of the G range. was also voted Truck of the Year in 1983.
Often equipped with a tipper body, the Renault G truck is also used for road works. The most common axle configurations are 4X2 or 6X4.
The Renault G range was replaced by the Manager in 1992 and then by the Premium Distribution in 1996.
