Tractor Renault MagnumMagnum is a range of carriers and tractors produced by Renault since 1990. Called AE in its infancy, the Renault Magnum stood out from other trucks thanks to its flat-floor cab and its power. It achieved rapid success and was voted Truck of the Year in 1991.
Equipped with a Mack V8 engine for the first models, the Magnum has been equipped since 1995 with a Volvo DXi engine which can reach an output of 520 horsepower. Available with different axle configurations (4X2, 6X2, 6X4), it supports a GVW of 44 tonnes. The Optidriver + robotic gearbox reduces fuel consumption and offers a more comfortable ride.
Over time, the Renault Magnum has undergone several technical and aesthetic evolutions: in 1997 it was renamed Magnum Intégral (new cabin), in 2001 it became Magnum E-Tech (Mack E7 engine for the Euro 3 standard). In 2011 Renault released a special series, called Magnum Legend, to mark the 20th anniversary of the range.
In 2013, for the entry into force of the Euro 6 standard, the Magnum was replaced by the T range, Renault's new long-distance range.
